root - Saturday, Sep 17, 2011, 9:17 PM Bluepoint Linux Users Elite (BLUE), in cooperation with the National Computer Center (NCC), Advanced Science & Technology Institute (ASTI), International Open Source Network (IOSN) ASEAN+3, Red Hat APAC and Bluepoint Foundation, celebrated Software Freedom Day with the rest of the world today at the NCC in UP Diliman, Quezon City.


A couple of organizations that have been regularly joining our SFD celebrations since 2007 held their own SFD events this year, so we were not expecting as many participants as before. To our pleasant surprise, two venues at the NCC were needed to accommodate all of our pre-registered and walk-in attendees.
